Hello everyone! I hope this finds you all doing well... I'm so excited that release day is here. I'm so happy to finally be able to show you my latest creation!
The blog contest was an amazing success and I want to thank you all for your kind comments and support of my work. It is always wonderful to get feedback from you all. I have announced the winners on my blog and I will also list them at the end of this newsletter.
Since this past spring the sunflower has been constantly in my life... ever since my oldest Son brought home a little seedling from his school. That was the beginning and since then it keeps showing up in my life in many ways... so I took this as a sign and created a fallish kit to celebrate it. The sunflower for me represents the inner light we all have...and the ability to "Shine" through difficult times... a positive outlook on life... peace and good health. When I look at a sunflower or think about one these things come to my mind and that is what brought "Shine" to life.
This kit has another special place in my heart as I finally decided draw and then watercolor paint almost the entire kit by hand... except for a few elements everything was created first by my own brush. This was fun and very liberating to me as I have missed the connection to my painting on this level.
